Emily Lupita is a watercolor artist and digital illustrator. She creates all the designs for this shop from her home studio, where she is also a full-time caregiver for her two young sons born with special needs.
Emily Lupita's artwork has been influenced by her childhood in rural Iowa, her Mexican American + Welsh heritage, and over a decade living in Atlanta, Georgia. She also paints from her experiences studying and working in different cultures around the world, including Japan, Turkey, Mexico, Wales, and other inspiring places.
Emily Lupita holds a Bachelor of Arts from Central College and a Master of Fine Arts from Iowa State University. She has been painting her "Portraits of Inner Reality" series since 2004 and has published five children's art/poetry books.
