About the Design

Our Lady of Guadalupe is a sacred symbol for many around the world. She has roots in both the Catholic Church and indigenous religions of Latin America, making her a powerful entity of divine wisdom and love. In this design, American Latina artist Emily Lupita paints a self-portrait with her sons and mixes it with traditional Lady of Guadalupe
symbolism.
